The Borgo preserves intact its ancient charm: the sanctuary, the little church; and the home of Eso Peluzzi, the poet and painter born in Cairo Montenotte, famous for his portraits and landscapes.
This place exudes a particular atmosphere:of a journey back in time to the Eighteenth century, when pilgrims reached the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Rosario, finding refuge in the adjacent presbytery.
